Columbia Shuttle Disaster

This morning as we were lounging in bed, Kathy and I heard what we thought was a sonic boom, right around 7:00 a.m. MST. Since this corresponds to the time that NASA lost communication with the shuttle, we’ve been wondering if what we heard may have been an explosion related to the disaster.
In any case, our heartfelt condolences to the crew members’ family and friends.
UPDATE: It sounds like what we heard was, indeed, the Columbia shuttle, and it was heard in several other states as well.

Actually, it looks like it was definitely caused by government bureaucracy.
