Fred Thompson at the Iowa Debate

December 13, 2007  ·  Category: Politics

Here are most, if not all, of Fred Thompson’s answers from the recent debate in Iowa:

Hat-tip: Dallman.

I like what David Brody had to say about Fred:

I think it’s pretty clear by now that Thompson is running his campaign the way he said he would. He’s not worried about the media, pundits or the traditional political game as we know it. He’s going to do things his way and talk about substantive issues. Look, he’s a serious guy and these are serious times. Thompson seems to be hitting his stride pretty well now. The question is, “Is it too late?” Who knows? The Huckabee craze could wear off with the increased scrutiny. Romney’s national numbers haven’t moved much and Giuliani has been trending downward. Something tells me we haven’t heard the last from Thompson.

  • The more I see of Thompson the more I like him. It’s nice to have an alternative to Guiliani in the race.

  • Yeah, I doubt the media or other camps will make too much of this one. Fred Thompson did do pretty dang well in yesterday’s debate.

Take a good look and you’ll learn a thing or two about who is a leader. A few people played along with the little drive-by media attack job. It took a leader to stand up and say no before the others realized that the media doesn’t get to run the show.

Fred was the only adult in the room!

  • “Fred was the only adult in the room!”

He sure was. Sen Thompson is the only adult in the whole flipping race!
