I know how to do many of these tricks, but I always find it ridiculously time-consuming. I’m sure the real experts get much quicker at it, but I still got a chuckle out of their admonition: “Do not compare yourself to someone who has gone through twenty hours of retouching.”
Sometimes it’s a fun twenty hours! And part of what’s most fun is striving for the convincing illusion of realness ... the very thing that can be harmful when it comes to women’s self-images.
So kudos to whoever put together this little demonstration.
