<description>I am curious about the Trimble House. My grandmother was an orphan and raised in the home of a Trimble family in Monterey, Virginia. The family owned a store. She was born in 1876. Her name was Maggie Varner. She married Noah Snyder from Grant County, West Virginia. I believe that she was five years old when she went to live in the Trimble home. She died in 1957. Any information about the Trimble family would be appreciated.
My husband and I drove through Monterey last Friday. I knew that she attended the Presbyterian Church and we drove by it.
