Monterey Virginia Bed and Breakfast
Earlier this week, I created a web site for my mom’s Monterey, Virginia bed and breakfast, called “Trimble House.”
Kathy and I often enjoy getting away to a bed & breakfast when we have time for a road trip. So last Christmas, it was fun to have a chance to stay at my mom’s B&B during our family get-together for the holiday.
My brother Ganon and sister Kelsey joined us as well. Below is a photo from our visit.

Below are a couple other photos from the visit, that I used when creating her web site. This is the room Kathy and I stayed in:

Please visit the Trimble House web site for more information about staying at a Monterey Virginia B&B.

I am curious about the Trimble House. My grandmother was an orphan and raised in the home of a Trimble family in Monterey, Virginia. The family owned a store. She was born in 1876. Her name was Maggie Varner. She married Noah Snyder from Grant County, West Virginia. I believe that she was five years old when she went to live in the Trimble home. She died in 1957. Any information about the Trimble family would be appreciated.
My husband and I drove through Monterey last Friday. I knew that she attended the Presbyterian Church and we drove by it.
