I really like this essay. These are ideas I often had in my mind while reading &quot;The Feeling Buddha&quot;. The parallels between eudaimonism, Buddhism, and objectivism are impossible to ignore. Of course, it depends on what sort of Buddhism we are talking about, and Brazier&#039;s obvious leftism is disappointing. When confronted with the contradiction between a peaceful existence and the coercion of socialism, many leftists Buddhists might rethink their politics.
