Mudita Journal Reloaded

March 29, 2006 · Filed under: Personal, Web Development

I have just redesigned and relaunched Mudita Journal. In addition to its new design, MJ now sports new back-end software: I migrated from MoveableType to WordPress, an incredible improvement.

Among the changes:

  1. I’ve put the site on its own domain name, www.muditajournal.com. This is a permanent change, so please update your blogrolls and bookmarks.
  2. Leaving comments will be much easier now, so fire away. Comments continue to be moderated and blog spam hasn’t got a chance.
  3. I’ve sorted all my blog entries into the categories you see listed at right. This will make it easier for readers interested in, say, meditation, to browse all my entries on that topic.
  4. I’ve experimented with putting a selection of my photographs on the left sidebar. Hopefully the large file size won’t cause problems.

I’ll be continuing to make further refinements over the next few days. In the interim, if you spot any bugs, please let me know.

The site looks great Josh. I was disappointed when you stopped posting and I am excited that you started again.

The Atlasphere is just awesome. As I am sure you know, it was referenced in an Atlantic Monthly article last month on online dating.

Congratulations on all your excellent work.

It was looking pretty dated in recent years. Looks like my most recent overhaul was in 2006. [...]
