Article Manager by InteractiveTools.com

I have begun setting up the “feature columns” area of the Atlasphere, for which I have just ordered the Article Manager software created by InteractiveTools.com. Their software appears to be very similar to MoveableType’s blogging platform, which I’ve enjoyed using.
My initial conversations with the InteractiveTools sales and support staff were fantastic. They were available, informed, and extremely helpful. I’m looking forward to using their software on the Atlasphere.
I will post additional information here as I learn more about their product and their customer support. ...So far everything looks splendid!
UPDATE 10/23/03 - Thumbs up. Their software works great, their customer support is incredible, and I couldn’t be more happy.

Joshua,
Perhaps you intend to cover this in your next post, but I am curious why you felt it necessary to seek out something new as opposed to using MT?
Kernon,
Article Manager has advantage of being specifically designed to manage the professional online magazine publication process. I probably could have achieved similar results with MT, but I think it would have required more hand-coding on our part.
With Article Manager, our editor is able to manage the entire publication process with little or no knowledge of HTML: Columnists can enter a submission in the admin console, the editor goes into the same console and edits the article and flags it for author review, the editor finalizes it after any author revisions, then holds until publication date, then publishes.
The InteractiveTools folks also provide knock-out customer support (i.e., ask a question by phone or e-mail and get your answer routinely within a couple business hours).
