Site Launch: Dinesh D’Souza

December 18, 2002 · Filed under: Web Development

We’ve finally launched the new, larger official web site for author Dinesh D’Souza, at:

    www.dinesh-dsouza.com.

The site is currently located at a temporary domain (hence the hyphenated name) until Dinesh succeeds in transferring dineshdsouza.com, which currently points to his old site.

Please contact me with any bug reports!

(I don’t recommend viewing the site with Navigator 4.X; this browser is so old now that it’s becoming increasingly impractical to design for.)

PS: If you’re unfamiliar with D’Souza’s writings, I recommend taking a close look at What’s So Great About America. This book provides the best overall analysis I’ve seen of the (moral) strengths and weaknesses of modern America. Kathy and I enjoyed it immensely, and it’s what initially led me to contact D’Souza about creating a new web site.

I could not pull up the D’Souza website this morning. I also just discovered this amazing book, and like you, have become an instant fan. Does he currently have a working website? The web address on the book jacket (www.dineshdsouza) doesn’t work and doesn’t point to his old site. Just the standard “website unavailable” message. Thanks, Gayle Ross

UPDATE: Dinesh is now using my site at dineshdsouza.com, which is where I originally intended it to be hosted.

D’Souza fell off the face of the earth for a couple years; and when he reappeared he wanted to use my code again. Glad to see it getting used.

Er, unfortunately, his new webmaster has tweaked the code to include some new books, and the design is now a bit out of whack. Oh, well.

We have read What is Great About America and we would like to write Mr. Souza, but cannot find an address. Is there a place where we can write to him?

    Thank you kindly,

    Bonnie Fleming
